St. Marks Now:

St. Mark's "Now" is entering into a new era, filled with hope, enthusiasm, dynamic leadership, and a new parish hall. The Reverend Donna H. Brown has brought her skills as an effective administrator rejuvenating the congregation, organizations, and vestry. New programs are starting and parish life is on the rise. The completion of our new parish hall provides expanded space for us to be God's people and to do God's work. We believe that God is leading us in new and exciting directions and we invite you to come and be part of it.

In the year 2004, our parish completed a "visioning" process whereby we discerned, through prayer and numerous conversations, the direction that we believe God desires us to go. As a result of this process, we have three main goals which we are working to accomplish in the next two or three years.

  • Provide a variety of opportunities that support people of all ages in learning and growing as followers of Christ.
  • Invite, welcome and involve people, including children and youth, into the worship, work and life of our community of faith.
  • Increase service to others by devoting increasing amounts of our resources (time, talent, money and building) to people and organizations outside our Church Family.
  • St. Mark's is a vibrant, growing parish that is moving into an exciting time as we expand both physically and spiritually. You will find many opportunities to explore and deepen your faith through worship, prayer, study, service and fellowship. We invite you to come and be part of our faith community.
