He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the stones would shout out.” (Luke 19:40)

Our worship embraces the traditions of the Episcopal Church and the Anglican Communion while being open to creative expressions of our faith.

We have two services 8am and 10:30am.  Our worship is participatory from the readings to the singing and sometimes even the sermons.

Music is important to us. We take “make a joyful noise” seriously. At the 10:30am service, we sing at times meditatively or raucously, even with the occasional clapping because we would rather praise God than let the stones shout out.

We have a few opportunities for you to join us in worship each week. We have two services on Sunday mornings; one is contemplative without music and the other has music and choir.

We have a midweek service on Wednesdays at the Riderwood Chapel.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” (1 Peter 4:10)

Dear St. Mark’s Family,

Our mission, in brief statements is: To deepen our faith; To extend our outreach; To enhance
our evangelism; and To increase our participation.

We are a presence in our faith community and the community around us through our helping
hands and our financial support. What if we could do more? Now is the time to prayerfully thank
God for the many blessings he has granted, and invite Him into your decision-making process.
Then open your heart and mind to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Tithing is the biblical norm and a good spiritual discipline. Many start by giving a proportional
gift, then increasing either during the year, or the next year. More information will be coming in preparation for Commitment Sunday scheduled for November 5, 2017.

Whatever your gift, give it generously and joyfully.

Yours in Christ,
The Stewardship Ministry
